RP 90 The Datacard® RP90 card printer is specifically engineered to help government agencies and other organizations issue secure, material-independent identification cards that contain the latest contact and contactless smart card technologies. The key benefits of this printer are: Versatility - Use the Datacard® RP90 card printer for easy, cost-effective issuance of contact, contactless, proximity or dual-interface smart cards. It can issue contactless smart cards with irregular card surfaces, as well as contact smart cards that require printing up to or behind the smart chip. Re-transfer printing also provides high-quality results with true edge-to-edge coverage for conventional photo IDs with magnetic stripes and bar codes. Durability - The RP90 printer prints on re-transfer film, not the card itself. This technology allows customers to print high-quality photo IDs on a wide variety of card surfaces, including extremely long-lasting non-PVC material that significantly improves durability as well as conventional PVC cards.
